Join ISRI for the 2021 Virtual Fall ISEC Conference
This week’s Industry Voices was written by Tony Smith, ISRI’s vice president of safety.
The 2021 Virtual Fall ISRI Safety and Environmental Conference (ISEC) begins on Tuesday, Nov. 9. Starting at 2 p.m. EDT on three consecutive Tuesdays, Nov. 9, 16, and 23, the conference will bring together environmental health and safety (EHS) professionals from across the industry and government, as they share lessons learned, best practices, and much more.
The main theme of this series of meetings is preparedness and planning. The meetings will start off with a presentation on ways to control the cost of business insurance and increase your profits.
Experts from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the insurance industry, the Electrical Safety Foundation International, and ISRI members will discuss how EHS issues have affected their businesses. Speakers will share the lessons they’ve learned, as well as ways to improve everyday operations where EHS matters are concerned. These sessions should provoke thoughts, ideas, and ways to improve your EHS programs. The virtual environment helps aid participation from a broad base of industry voices.

Participants can send questions live, offer their expertise to others in open discussions, and gather useful information for their operations. Meeting online will help build personal and professional networks, which in turn will help raise the bar of any safety program.
I hope that you and your organization will join us for the Fall ISEC. The full schedule can be viewed here, and you can register here.
